The Panoramic Getaway, Chithirapuram, Munnar is one of the best place and final word of luxury in this beautiful hill station of South India.
I had a visit to the hotel last week for making up this review. And I have met Mr & Mrs. Bennett, owner of the hotel and had a great evening talking with them. Mr. Bennett has taken me to every nook and corner of the hotel. I am pretty much impressed by the view and perspective of these people rather than describing much more about the hotel.
The Panoramic Getaway is located at around 4000 feet above sea level and it provides all the amenities expected from a contemporary hotel at a destination considered to be one of the most spectacular in India. It is the only hotel in Munnar with an international appeal and gives you a true five star like experience.
When you see the hotel from the road side, it doesn’t impress you much. But when you enter the lobby you will start telling wow and awesome. All the rooms except family rooms are facing the mountain view and give you the best panoramic view in Munnar.
That Infinity Pool
Deep blue in colour, this infinity pool quite literally takes you on to the cliff edge and looks as if it merges straight into the mountains. Being a family friendly hotel, the pool area is peaceful, relaxing and utterly idyllic.
The main attraction is that it is a heated pool and the only one of such in Munnar. That means you don’t have to worry about the climate of Munnar. You can really enjoy the pool even if the climate is damn cold.
Tattvam – The Spa
Omg, The interior of the spa looks stunning and the treatment rooms are just awesome and I am damn sure that you will not get such a great ambience anywhere in Munnar or in Kerala.
The spa here offers both short duration and long duration treatments. This include Abhayangam, Shorodhara, Kumkumadi Facial, Poorna Vizrama, and their main attractions is the Doctor’s Specialty Remedies (3-5 days) which is a combination of treatments to reduce or completely heal Headaches, migraine, insomnia, joints and muscular pains.
There are 5 treatments rooms. Individual treatment rooms for ladies and gents, with attached bath and steam facility.

The Pavilion Suite
The pavilion suite room is just wow. I have no words to describe the facilities and view from the room. The video here will speak up everything.
The suite which is about 1500 sqft is having a heated private pool, Spectacular 360 degree Panoramic views, climate control facility, Jacuzzi, Custom made SRK king size bed, Double 56 inch smart LED TVs with Blue Ray Disc player, Compact Sauna for two, Reserved VIP parking, High pressure twin seater SPA for a soothing water massage experience and what else you get an ultra high-speed free wifi which offers a download & upload speed of more than 60 Mbps.
The pavilion suite is recommended for honeymoon couples.
The Panoramic Suite
The Panoramic suite is around 1000 Sqft and looks attractive with beautiful interior design. The room is having facilities like Twin large LED TVs, bubble bath, a beautiful bathtub, Outdoor swing, Large rain shower, Outdoor twin seater spa along with the attractive high-speed wifi.
The panoramic suite is highly recommended for the honeymoon couples who cannot afford the price of Pavilion suites.
Family Rooms
Family rooms are about 700 Sqft and have two bedrooms interconnected with single door access. The rooms are perfect for families travelling with kids and elder people.
Deluxe Rooms
Deluxe double rooms are about 400 Sqft in size and a perfect choice for budget travellers who need luxury. The room offers all basic amenities.

How to Reach?
For those coming from Cochin direction, the hotel is about 10 km before reaching Munnar town. The ideal route would be Cochin – Adimaly – 2nd mile Jn (on NH 49) – right turn and further 2.5 km on Munnar – Anachal – Adimaly road. You would find the hotel on the right-hand side of the main road.
For those who are coming from Coimbatore & Bangalore has to come to Munnar town first and take the road to Cochin till you reach 2nd mile (8 km from Munnar town) from where you take a left turn on Munnar-Anachal-Adimaly road and travel further for 2.5 km to find The Panoramic Getaway on the right-hand side.
