I had a visit to Chempenkulam Ayurveda Pharma’s Swaztha Ayurvedic hospital yesterday during my trip to Thekkady. My main intention was to find out the real authentic massage centers in Thekkady and Kumily area. There are plenty of massage parlors, spa’s and other wellness clinics in Thekkadi to mislead tourists. Commission business is spoiling the tourism in Thekkady now. The drivers and guides are taking the tourists only to the places who offer a high commission to them.
Kerala is the only place in the world who provides authentic ayurvedic treatments. And Thekkady is one of the top tourist destination in Kerala. There are only a few authentic and traditional massage centers in Thekkadi and one of them is Chempenkulam Ayurveda Hospital. It is located just 8 Km far from Thekkadi and easily accessible with your vehicle.
Svaztha Ayurveda Retreat is one of the front runners in providing authentic Kerala Ayurveda Panchakarma treatment and owes its success and credibility to a strong foundation of eight generation of Physicians. Their drug manufacturing facility prepares a full range of Ayurveda products for wellness and therapeutic use. Ingredients for the medicines are sourced from either the organic garden within their campus or from the virgin forest areas in and around the Periyar Forest.
They also offer a number of fun-filled activities to entertain the visitors who are going for long term ayurvedic treatments. These include a visit to the Periyar wildlife sanctuary, jeep safari, boat cruise, and elephant trekking.
